On Saturday, 4 November 2023, at 11:00 a.m., the Dogs Trust Foundation organized its first get-together for owners, dog lovers, veterinary partners and all other friends in the city Park in Trebinje.
Numerous visitors, as well as dog owners and their pets, had the opportunity to consult with veterinarians and learn more about the importance of pet sterilization, responsible ownership, and dog training through positive motivation, as well as systemic, legal and humane solving of the problem of stray dogs and the work of the Foundation in general.
The event also featured a mini exhibition of photos sent to the Foundation by dog owners from Trebinje, who were able to download these framed photos on this occasion, while all visitors went home with not only a nice experience but also useful gifts.
The get-together was also an opportunity to explore the possibility of visiting the Dogs Trust School for Dogs in Trebinje in the coming period, about which we will certainly inform you through our social networks.
As of this year, the Dogs Trust Foundation, with the consent of the competent city authorities, provides support to Trebinje and the surrounding area through the financing of dog sterilization as the most effective humane measure for combating the influx of new individuals on the streets, and systemic, legal and permanent solving of the problem of stray dogs.
