Bucharest, October 11, 2025 – Representatives of the Dogs Trust Foundation BiH participated in the international conference titled “The Business of Saving Lives”, held on October 11, 2025, in Bucharest, and organized by the Romanian association Asociația Red Panda.
During the conference, the Foundation's team presented their successful dog fostering model, which has been implemented for years in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The model was recognised as an example of good practice in working with stray dogs and sparked great interest among participants.
The conference brought together numerous NGOs, volunteers, and both local and international experts in animal welfare, communications, and animal rescue programs. One of the event’s main goals was to connect individuals and organizations who share a common vision—improving animal welfare through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and resources.
Through various sessions, workshops, and panel discussions, participants were offered both inspiration and practical tools to improve practices in areas such as mass neutering, public engagement, fostering programs, and the strengthening of initiatives by competent authorities and broader community involvement.
The participation of Dogs Trust BiH in this important event once again affirms the Foundation’s commitment to advancing dog welfare and promoting humane and sustainable solutions in the field of animal protection—both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
