Topic: Improving dog welfare in the local community
We invite all interested secondary schools in BiH to apply and contribute to the improvement of dog welfare in the local community.

Objective: Creating a project on improving dog welfare
Deadline for applications and sending projects to email: September 1 - October 31, 2024.

Note: In the title of the email write: “Competition for high school students”, the name of your school and city
Participants: High school student groups
Note: The groups consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 students, and 1 teacher who will lead the project preparation process.
Project value: Up to BAM 20,000.00
Deadline for project implementation: June 15, 2025.
Prizes: each member of the winning group will receive a tablet.

All secondary schools from BiH can apply within the above deadline.
Please note that only the first 50 applications will be considered by the expert team of the Dogs Trust Foundation of BiH.
2. Application form:
The application/project proposal must be submitted exclusively as a Word document on a maximum of 10 pages.
Font: Arial, font size: 12, spacing: 1.5.
3. Content of the application:
Brief description of the project: On one page at the very beginning.
Detailed project description: Indicating all activities and plans with deadlines.
Detailed budget: Specification of all costs.
4. Additional documentation*:
If the project requires approvals, permits, consents, etc. by competent institutions and services, e.g. the Ministry of Education, etc. it is obliged to submit as an addendum to the project, a scanned consent or a letter confirming that the consent for the implementation of the project will be issued after the end of the prize competition.
Note: Additional documentation is not included in the total number of pages of the project proposal.
5. Advantage when selecting projects/proposals:
Proposals involving other partners, and in particular local authorities, to ensure the sustainability of the project for a longer period of time, will take precedence.
6. Budget constraints:
The budget must not include cash benefits to participants.
7. Rewards for the best:
All members of the group whose project is selected as the best will receive valuable rewards. The prize fund for each winning group is about 2000 convertible marks.
8. Project selection criteria:
Innovation and creativity of the idea
Project sustainability and long-term impact
Involvement of the local community and partners
Budget clarity and detail
Implementation of activities in accordance with the planned deadline
Important note:
The Dogs Trust BiH Foundation reserves the right to divide the funds for implementation into several projects if circumstances permit. The Dogs Trust BiH Foundation will provide professional assistance during the implementation of the project.
Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
