The Dogs Trust Foundation in BiH welcomes the opening of the Emergency Center for Animals of the Sarajevo Canton, which it considers an important step towards the systematic improvement of the welfare of dogs and other animals, and an important part of an efficient, self-sustainable system for managing the population of dogs in this canton.
In order to support the start of this important service, which it hopes will develop its full potential as announced, the Dogs Trust Foundation donated 4 quality boxes for the admission of dogs to the Sarajevo Cantonal Veterinary Station on Monday, 25 September 2023, as well as a package with food and a number of other supplies worth around 1,500 convertible marks, which will help the animals that are admitted to this center to feel as comfortable as possible.
Since 2012, the Dogs Trust, through a series of programs designed to use available resources efficiently, has significantly helped competent owners and institutions in BiH consistently implement the progressive and humane state law on the protection and welfare of animals, which is the only way to ensure the well-being of both the community and dogs.
