Dogs Trust visits Mayor of Sarajevo

Representatives of the Dogs Trust Foundation, and the city councillor, Prof. Dr. Velija Katica, have visited the Mayor of Sarajevo, Mrs. Benjamina Karić, on Tuesday, 15/2/2022 in the City Hall of the City of Sarajevo. The upcoming award ceremony for the Plaque of the City of Sarajevo, unanimously awarded by the City Council to the Dogs Trust Foundation for its outstanding contribution to the humane and legal management of the dog population, was discussed. The Plaque will be received, on behalf of the Foundation, by the Executive Director of the Dogs Trust Foundation, Mr. Owen Sharp. At the meeting, it was concluded that there is a large number of common interests of the Foundation and the City of Sarajevo, and the preliminary agreement of future cooperation and the first joint project was made. We believe this is just the beginning of a productive collaboration that will contribute to a better and happier community of the City, and the dogs in it!
