Earth Day is an excellent opportunity for all of us to pause and assess our impact on environment. We can do a lot to help preserve our environment, which includes taking care of our furry pets. The paw print of our best friends leaves a heart shape in us, So the least that we can do for them is care for them.
Celebrate Earth Day, with the decision to go green at home, on the street and in nature.
Recycle
Recycling is a great way to help reduce negative impact of your pet on the environment. Replace small packages of food and supplies for dogs with larger packages that you can keep in multiple bowls and thus reduce the amount of packaging in which these products come. If your pet eats canned food, rinse and dry the can after emptying and separate it from other waste.
Donate
If you have old blankets or towels that you no longer use, consider donating them to an animal shelter or animal care organization.
Use products that are good for the environment
There are many organic pet products that you can use. When buying toys or supplies for your pet, if available, choose materials that are biodegradable, natural and recyclable.

Pet Activities for Earth Day
A great way to celebrate Earth Day is to have your dog involved in the celebration!
Go out
Take a walk with your pet! During the walk, collect the rubbish you see on the grass and put it away in the designated place, leaving a nice trail behind you and your pet. Of course, don't forget to collect waste behind your dog using, if possible, biodegradable bags.
Plant a tree
Another activity where your pets will enjoy playing around you is if you have a garden, plant one tree! If you can’t, check out environmental activities in the community and join them with your pets.
Save the Earth, it's the only planet with dogs!
